Okay so I have been MIA for the last 6 months, I started getting pretty realistic with my time management.. I was working 55 hours a week, gym-ing 5 days a week & had just enrolled in an online access to midwifery course, to say I was running myself down alongside trying to blog about what I love would be an absolute understatement, I was making myself ill.
Haven taken an extremely long break from this, I'm ready to go at it again.. As I write this post i'm in my first week / first night! of 'in between jobs' I've decided to give up the nannying, it was honestly something I absolutely loved doing, and I could not fault the children I looked after one bit, I hope one day I’ll go back into it I just don’t want to rush into finding a family which may not be the perfect suit - hence I've just bagged myself a fresh role at ASOS and am due to start at the end of August, night shifts (what is wrong with me?) but a more manageable 37.5 hours standard a week. I've been slacking completely gym wise, though I completed the 10km race for life last week in 1hr 14 mins, on practically no training! woooo go me. I've gone from being crazily obsessed to barely managing a couple of sessions a week, I'm 100% heading back into it, i'm feeling incredibly frumpy and unhealthy, particularly post Marbella, and with a holiday in two weeks I need to find my mojo again two weeks change around though, who am I kidding?
In terms of beauty / fashion / lifestyle chinwags, I'm completely out of the loop.. can't even remember the last time I tried something new, though again this is something that will be changing as I start to find time to continue blogging.
2017 has been a bit of a rollercoaster year so far, I started the year with so much hope and optimism, and with an early onset crash of events I was at a real low, which may have contributed to my LACK of contribution to my blog also, however I'm starting to feel more myself again.
Hope you're all well & enjoying the sunshine (lack of it) xox
