Hello 2015

(Excuse me for stating the obvious in this post)

As 2014 is now officially closed, (sounds like a shop.. just go with it) I'm very hopeful for what 2015 will bring. Now I don't want to get all cliche over this and bore you with what you already know, but this is the month where we make promises to ourselves and people we care about, by giving ourselves challenges whether it be to lose weight, quit smoking or a general better attitude and acceptance to life itself, whether we choose to stick to it is soley down to us and us alone.

This year I'm going to focus on what I really want in life, I'm going to try and dedicate more time and energy into my blog, I aim to have my personal statement done for university in the next week and the go on to go to university and I aim to lose weight. - I've given myself three difficult but do-able goals..

The great thing about a new year is that you're able to refresh any goals or any mistakes you made in 2014 and focus on making this year better (or even better if you're 2014 like mine was great) everything can always be improved.. As Steven Spielberg once said 'All of us every single year, we're a different person. I don't think we're the same person all our lives' it's true, we're forever changing, forever growing up.. But we are definitely in control of how we make that change, what we change about ourselves and what we let others change about us.

I have decided to write down everything positive or memorable that happens to me in 2015 and pop it into a jar.. That way at the end of the year I am able to look back over everything that made me happy at the time, a lot of us get carried away thinking about all the shitty stuff that happened in a year and we don't focus on the good.. By doing this I can focus solely on the good, and head into the new year positively.

I for sure have my goals for 2015.. Have you yours?
