First of all, the packaging is really not my cup of tea.. its very unnecessarily bulky, don't get me wrong, the idea of having the sponge separate to the foundation itself is fine, but it does give off an impression that you're going to get a lot more than you think. It does however come with a handy little mirror, and if you're anything like me you're constantly forgetting to pack a mirror in your makeup bag!
As for the applicator, no no no.. as soon as I opened the compact I knew I wouldn't be using it, but I gave it a go, and like most foundations like this the silly little sponge it comes with ends up in the bin.. out pops my trusty morphe 214 brush.
The foundation itself does what it says on the packaging, the shade i'm wearing is 07 (golden beige) a dewy finish, I'm super impressed with the results and as a budget foundation its perfect for a natural day to day use as it feels light on my skin, with a medium coverage thats definitely buildable.. infact you're almost mis-lead by the fact its in the nude range and you'd expect a light coverage, but its definitely hidden all my pesky blemishes without giving a cakey feel. It also has an SPF of 29 making it perfect for summer application, and if the last two weeks are anything to go by we may be having a good'un. The foundation is sealed within a spongey type cushion, a few dabs on your brush and you have enough foundation to cover your whole face.
have you tried this foundation yet?! what are your thoughts..
