(Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been trying to make the most of my time left in Australia, I.e beach, drink, gigs, beach, drink, gigs)
If you're reading this then you probably, like me, have your own beauty Wishlist - jam packed filled with products you can't afford and will only feel comfortable buying when there's a decent looking number in your bank account, products that might always be sold out, products you're tempted by but want to see some more reviews on... This list is endless.
The main issue in my case is the countdown till I'm back in England and can afford to buy everything I want (yes Aussie beauty products are insanely expensive) but I'm also holding out on reading and researching more reviews for particular products I'm reluctant to take the plunge on..
(Please comment below if you've tried or have any of these products.. and if you have done a review on any, I'm interested in reading reviews on my wishlist and your opinions!)
~ this is probably up there with one of the most talked about skincare products in the beauty blogging world.. I have two reservations, firstly the price is a bit of a draw back, I mean £36.00 for 30ml, it feels a bit tight. - but I've also heard the littlest amount goes a long way (look at that, justifying a reason TO buy the product.. Dammit) my other reservation is that my skin is Oily, actually it's really combination but I can go through some real oily stages.. And an oil, on already oil skin.. doesn't sound very clever. I'll continue reading some reviews and make a decision when I have some spare cash to splurge..
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (Look Fantastic 75g £40.30 currently with 10% off all products)
cost to buy full size and swerved from it. I got this in a blog sale last year, a little mini size and used it everyday for about 3 weeks.. (Yes it lasts forever) Holy moly I cannot rave enough about this, for a girl with oily skin it left my face incredibly soft and smooth, and not dry but just not oily? I was glowing and it smelt like heaven to put on ( the only way I can describe the smell is with two words - newborn baby)
~ now this is one product I've tried and tested before, fell in love, discovered how much it
I'm definitely going to be buying this when I'm back on English soil, £40 is a bit steep for a Microfoliant but seriously it works absolute wonders and a little bit goes a long way!
Lush Tea Tree Toner Water (Lush Store £7.50)
~ I actually blame Claire @ Beauty & le Chic for my wanting of this, I usually tend to go by and long for the products she raves about because the ones I've bought in the past purely based on her reviews have become firm favourites of mine.. This toner just seems inviting to my skin, and I know I would get on well with it because it's so simple and natural, for the amount you get I don't think it's an expensive buy, so will definitely be purchasing it
sometime in the next month

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (John Lewis £35.50)
~ To be honest, I really ought to just fork out and take the plunge on this one because I just know it'll work on my skin. It's oil free (YAY) and provides such a great but light coverage(from what I've read) it has no SPF which works as a bonus for me because I only usually tend to wear foundations in the evenings if I'm out, so with this I'm protected from the 'ghostly look' of a flash camera.. According to Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup it gives anin between finish of both dewy and matte.. Which I can handle. - oh look I've basically
By Terry Terrybly Densiliss (Space NK £75.00 - nope it's definitely £75.00)
~ I think I may actually buy this just for the mere interest in understanding why it's so god darn expensive, £75.00 for a foundation, it must be one of the most expensive foundations in the world? Ruth from amodelrecommends has raved about this in a recent YouTube video of hers, and I'm literally sold on how beautiful it looks.. However it'll take a lot of saving, umming and ahhing before I bring myself to place it on the Space NK counter.
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder (John Lewis £27.00)
~ I stayed with a friend whilst I was in Sydney, and spent the whole week swapping around our products, trying out each others, etc etc. She had this Bobbi Brown bronzer and I became hooked for the week, promising myself I'd buy it when I was home.. It just applied to my face so well, and lasted ages. For £27 I don't think it's such a bad buy, I own the Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess and swear buy it, which generally retails at £30. Just keep telling myself it pays to have good stuff.
Loreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara (Boots £10.99 + boots currently have 2 for £15 on selected loreal products)
~ This mascara seems to swan around as a firm drugstore favourite in terms of eyes! I haven't used it before but I'm keen to try it to see what the fuss is about.. If it creates a 'false lash' effect then I'm all for it.. Saves me stressing over applying false lashes on a night out!
Barry M Gelly Nail Polishes - Newest Pastel Colours (Boots £3.99)
~ Ive been in awe with the recent blog posts on Barry M's new additional colours to their Hi Shine Gel collection, I will definitely be hooking myself up with Huckleberry, Rose Hip and Sugar Apple. Hopefully Boots are rocking a 3 for 2 when I go in.. That's it for my current Wishlist, it's ever growing so there's probably a ton more I can't think of off the top of my head.. What's your Wishlist?
